Here we describe how we collect, use, and handle your personal data when you use online workplace collaboration services, websites, and client software (“Services”).
If you do not agree with the practices described in this Policy, please choose not to use the Services. By visiting the Services, you are accepting and consenting to the collection of personal information and use practices described in this Policy.
This Policy does not apply to any third party applications or software that integrate with the Services (“Third Party Services”). In addition, the Customer Terms of Services governs delivery, access, and use of the Services (“Customer Agreement”), including processing of messages, files and other content (“Customer Data”). In this instance, the entity or individual who entered into the Customer Agreement (the “Customer”) controls Customer Data.
We may collect, use and receive Customer Data and on information (“Your Information”) to provide, improve, protect, and promote our Services:
Customer Data. Customers or individuals authorized to access a team workspace by the Customer (“Team Member”) routinely submit Customer Data when using the Services.
Account information. We collect, and associate with your account, the information you provide to us when you do things such as sign up for your account and set up two-factor authentication (like your name, email address, phone number, payment info, and physical address).
Your Information. Our Services are designed as a simple and personalized way for you to store Your Information, collaborate with others, and work across multiple devices and services. To make that possible, we store, process, and transmit Your Information as well as information related to it.
Usage information. We collect information related to how your use of the Services, including actions you take in your account . We use this information to provide, improve, and promote our Services, and protect TIMU users.
Device information. We also collect information from and about the devices you use to access the Services. This includes things like IP addresses, the type of browser and device you use, the web page you visited before coming to our sites, and identifiers associated with your devices. Your devices (depending on their settings) may also transmit location information to the Services. For example, we use device information to detect abuse and identify and troubleshoot bugs.
Cookies and other technologies. We use technologies like cookies and other technologies to provide, improve, protect, and promote our Services. For example, cookies help us with things like remembering your username for your next visit, understanding how you are interacting with our Services, and improving them based on that information. You can set your browser to not accept cookies, but this may limit your ability to use the Services. Marketing. If you register for our Services, we will, from time to time, send you information about upgrades when permissible. Users who receive these marketing materials can opt out at any time. If you don’t want to receive a particular type of marketing material from us email a request to opt out to support@timu.com.
Bases for processing your data. We collect and use the personal data described above in order to provide you with the Services in a reliable and secure manner. We also collect and use Your Information for our legitimate business needs. To the extent we process Your Information for other purposes, we ask for your consent in advance or require that our partners obtain such consent.
We may share Your Information as discussed below, but we do not sell Your Information to advertisers or other third parties.
Others working for and with TIMU. We use certain trusted third parties (for example, providers of customer support and IT services) to help us provide, improve, protect, and promote our Services. These third parties will access your information to perform tasks on our behalf, and we’ll remain responsible for their handling of your information per our instructions.
Customer’s Instructions. TIMU will solely share and disclose Customer Data in accordance with Customer instructions, including in accordance with the Customer Agreement and Customer’s use of the Services, and as required by applicable law.
Displaying the Services. When a Team Member submits Your Information, it may be displayed to Team Members in the team workspace.Collaborating Access. Owners, administrators, Team Members, and other Customer personnel may be able to access, control, modify or restrict access to Your Information.
Other Applications. You can choose to connect your TIMU account with third-party services. By doing so, you’re enabling TIMU and those third parties to exchange information about you and data in your account so that TIMU and those third parties can provide, improve, protect, and promote their services. Please remember that third parties’ use of Your Information will be governed by their own privacy policies and terms of service.
Law & Order and the Public Interest. We may disclose Your Information to third parties if we determine that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to: (a) comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or appropriate government request; (b) protect any person from death or serious bodily injury; (c) prevent fraud or abuse of Services or our users; (d) protect TIMU’s rights, property, safety, or interest; or (e) perform a task carried out in the public interest.
We are committed to protecting the security of Your Information entrusted to us and treat Your Information securely in accordance with this Policy. We use a variety of physical, administrative, and technological safeguards designed to protect Your Information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. We also contractually require that third party service providers protect such information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
We will retain Your Information as needed to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected. We will retain and use Your Information as necessary to comply with our business requirements, deliver your Services, legal obligations, resolve disputes, protect our assets, and to enforce compliance with our agreements. But please note: (1) there might be some latency in deleting this information from our servers and back-up storage; and (2) we may retain this information if necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16. If you are under the age of 16, please do not submit personal information to the Services. We encourage parents and guardians to monitor their children’s Internet usage to help enforce this Policy. If you believe that we may have collected personal information from someone under the applicable age of consent in your country without proper consent, please let us know using the methods described in the Contact Us section and we will use commercially reasonable efforts to delete that information.
We respect the privacy of our users and are committed to maintaining the confidentiality and security of their personal information. This privacy policy addition outlines the way our application accesses, uses, stores, or shares Google user data.
Our application may request access to certain Google user data such as basic profile information and email address. This access is granted by the user through Google's OAuth authentication process and is only used to provide specific features within the application.
The Google user data accessed by our application is only used to provide specific features and services within the application. This data is not used for any other purposes and is not shared with third parties without user consent. For example, users may choose to share specific files or documents from Google Drive with other users.
The Google user data accessed by our application is stored securely on our servers and is only accessible by authorized personnel. We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to safeguard the security and confidentiality of the data.
We do not share any Google user data accessed by our application with third parties. However, we may disclose user data if required to do so by law or if necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of our application, our users, or the public.
By using our application, you agree to the terms of this privacy policy addition regarding the accessing, using, storing, and sharing of your Google user data.
TIMU’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You are entitled (in circumstances and under the conditions, and subject to the exceptions, set out in applicable law) to:
Request access to Your Information we process about you: this right entitles you to know whether TIMU holds Your Information and, if so, obtain Your Information on and a copy of such information.
Request a rectification of Your Information: this right entitles you to have Your Information corrected if it is inaccurate or incomplete.
Object to the processing of Your Information: this right entitles you to request that we no longer processes Your Information.
Request the erasure of Your Information: this right entitles you to request the erasure of Your Information, including where such information would no longer be necessary to achieve the purposes.
Request the restriction of the processing of Your Information: this right entitles you to request that TIMU only processes Your Information in limited circumstances including with your consent.
Request portability of Your Information: this right entitles you to receive a copy (in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format) of Your Information or request TIMU to transmit Your Information to another data controller.
If, despite our commitment and efforts to protect Your Information, you believe that your data privacy rights have been violated, we encourage and welcome individuals to come to TIMU first to seek resolution of any complaint. You have the right at all times to register a complaint directly with the relevant supervisory authority or to make a claim against us with a competent court (either in the country you live, the country where you work, or the country you deem that data privacy law has been infringed).

If we’re involved in a reorganization, merger, acquisition, or sale of our assets, your data may be transferred as part of that deal.
